Ok got a green screen poping up that says "you have a virus" but AVG and Malware say no you don't, is there any other program out there that should be able to check and destroy?

It's malware. It's probably a file that is running in your temporary internet files folder, use a spyware removal tool.

And STOP USING IE.

Superantispyware and malwarebytes. Install in normal mode then run them in safe mode.

If you have trouble killing it, let me know and I'll stop by and take a crack at it.

I prefer IE8 over Firefox. Never really had any problems with it, just that Chrome is light and fast. Kind of like how Firefox used to be when it first came out.

Firefox seems to render pages more accurately and faster for me.

Chrome, IMO, is faster than FireFox, but has annoying quirks that keep me from using it.

IE is a pig,was unstable on initial release, and is a malware magnet. I use it only when I HAVE to.

Maybe in chrome's next release, but not now.

What quirks? Just curious, I have been using Chrome as my "go to" browser for a couple months now and am loving it. It reminds me of when Firefox was first released and the speed gains you got moving from IE.

Chrome doesn't work well with Webex despite the fact that it should.
